Meet our home caregivers.
The Care Club and Concierge was born to fill the need for more home caregivers and to provide high quality
in-home caregiving services to families and individuals in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It's important to us that each client and their loved ones feel comfortable with the home caregivers we provide. Our passion lies in helping our clients and their families improve their quality of life during the aging process, maintain peace of mind, and enjoy independence in their own homes.
Crystal Elliott-Taylor
Crystal’s passion for in-home caregiving sparked while taking care of her grandmother. Crystal had previously witnessed her mother’s efforts to care for her uncle, who had cerebral palsy, so she knew the challenges that home caregivers face. After her grandmother passed, Crystal was determined to help others. She became a CNA in Washington, D.C. and enrolled at the
University of the District of Columbia
to continue her education. Not long after that, Crystal and her business partner, Ariminta Shelton, founded The Care Club and Concierge. Crystal has been a home caregiver since 2017 and also has experience working in skilled nursing and memory care facilities.
Ariminta Shelton
Ariminta began her home caregiving journey while taking care of her godmother for more than seven years. During that time, Ariminta began to notice the need for more reliable and compassionate home caregivers, as she became uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the level of in-home care her godmother was receiving. After attending school to get her HHA certificate and license, Ariminta returned to care for her godmother, who became her first client in 2013. Over the next four years, Ariminta gained first-hand experience dealing with seniors, dementia, medication pick-up, and doctors’ appointments. When her godmother passed away in 2018, Ariminta began searching for a way to fill the void and teamed up with her business partner, Crystal Taylor-Elliott, to launch The Care Club and Concierge.
